Monthly Chapter Meeting Change: 
The location for the monthly chapter meeting is now at Lee Roy Selmon's - 4302 W Boy Scout Blvd - Tampa, FL 33607 (813) 871-3287.  The monthly meetings are held the 3rd Monday of the month @ 12 noon w/registration starting @ 11:30.  Lunch will be provided free to Chapter Members.  If you want to attend, please call Jim Romkey, CSI at 813.434.6255or email him at jromkey@parksite.com. Directions.

Board Meetings: Are on the Second Monday of every Month from 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM "Lunch Meeting".  The location varies, so please contact the Chapter President for location, we are always looking for help. (Chip Hayward, 813-251-1884).

October 28th:  CDT prep classes, to begin on Tuesday, and will begin at 6:00pm, each class will be 2 hours long, and will span over 8 weeks.  The cost per person will be $100 to cover the cost of printing. The cost for students is $75 each.  Pizza and soda will be provided at $5.00/person at each class. The CDT certification class offers 16 AIA CEU credits to professionals.  The course covers the entire project delivery process, and is a great class for interns studying or preparing for the ARE exams. This is the basic class that is is a pre-requisite for the second tier certifications for Certified Specification Writer (CCS), Certified Construction Administrator (CCCA), and Certified Product Representative (CPR).
 
The classes will be held at the AIA office in Downtown Tampa, across the street from the Hyatt Regency. Parking in the Bank of America Garage is free.

All exams for 2009 will be computerized for the Spring exam time of
March 30 to April 4.  Registration has started and Early Registration Ends on January 31, 2009 with Final Registration is February 28, 2009. Registration is open for spring CDT & advanced certification exams: Register now to take the CDT, or an advanced certification exam (CCS, CCCA, CCPR)! The spring testing window for all exams is March 30 – April 4, 2009. The early registration deadline is January 31, 2009, and the final registration deadline is February 28. Register now.
