UPDATE 02/27/ 2007
Howdy,
I wanted to bring a couple of issues to your attention. First, our
joint meeting with the Mississippi CSI Chapter this Thursday, March 1
at Seasons restaurant. This meeting is for members only. Your meal
(a nice meal I may add) will be taken care of by the Mississippi
Chapter CSI. I think we should be there before the professional
chapter shows up - say 15 minutes earlier. And if you know of
someone who would like to attend, they are welcome to join our chapter.
As for the trip to Montgomery, Alabama. We will be leaving on
Thursday afternoon, April 26th and stay three nights, returning on
Sunday morning. I understand there are eight of you coming; the
problem being that only two $139 a night, double rooms are being
provided, and there are no more rooms available. I suggest we do as
in San Antonio and go to a nearby, cheaper hotel and get us four
rooms instead, five with mine. That should work. I suggest those who
are going set up a committee meeting so we can coordinate this trip.

We will ride the bus with the professional members. Once there,
remember that there will be a series of seminars and functions that
we will be expected to attend. These fees will be taken care for
you. Finally, if you need a letter from me requesting your absence
from class, let me know.

UPDATE 02/14/ 2007
Dear CSI members,
The Alabama conference requires a room to be reserved. The rooms are limited do to other events. We need to make reservations if you are going to attend. I know its a month away but, I need to have them by the end of the week. I only have confirmations for Kelly and Shawn. The Gulf State Region Conference is April 27 and 28. We will be leaving Jackson via charter bus on the 25th. Please email me back asap. I am going to sending a head count this Friday @ 5pm. thanks.

Hello fellow CSI members,
I am configuring a head count for two events. The first will be on Feb. 22, right around the corner. The Product Show will be held from 3-9pm, but the students are looking to get there around 5pm and leave around 7pm. I was informed food will be provided. We are meeting in the lobby of the Bobby Chain building @ 3pm. Please email me sooner than later so I can get rough head count to establish the transportation situation.
Also towards the end of April (I think the 27th) there is a Regional Conference in Montgomery Alabama . There is talk of taking a bus if enough people attend, so I need to know if you would like to go. I can give more detail on that event for those interested. I do not yet have a dead line for reserving a place, but will email you again with one. We will be staying there overnight.
On another note, as you may or may not know, the Student-Professional meeting is coming up in March 7th. CSI @ USM will be hosting this event. I would also like a head count for that to get a rough idea of the amount of food needed.

After looking over the Homebuilders trip I have realized only one person from our group will be unviable for Wednesday the 7th of February. So I would like to set a time of 8:00 pm at Sweet Peepers. Hello fellow CSI memebers. Hope the break served everyone well. Its time to get organized about the semester ahead. I am asking for everyones schedule, school and work related. I am thinking we can have lunch or something to that effect to discuss the game plan. Let me know soon as possible and you will here back from me with a proposed date.

Hey Everyone!
I hope everyone is having a good weekend. This is a reminder that we have planned to go to Jackson to tour Mr. John Dunaway's Architect firm on Saturday, November 18, 2006. We will meet in the TEC building at 8:00a.m. Whoever still wants to come please let ME know ASAP so we can arrange carpool. Thanks
Also, the CSI chapter is having a Christmas party in Jackson and invited students to come. It costs $10.00 but it should be fun. Anyone can come and check out what CSI is all about. Please let me know if you are interested in going to the party. If you already plan on going then you have two choices for dinner :
A) Grilled Snapper Oscar with Scnowcrad Meat with Bernaise Sauce
or
B) 8 oz. Filet Mignon with Sauteed Mushrooms.
If anyone has special dietary concerns then let me know so I can let other people know. I need to know if you are comming by Saturday, November 18, 2006. Talk to me if you have any questions. I hope everyone will be able to come to both events.
