President's Message - January 2010
Greetings to all Southeast Region CSI Members:
Happy New Year to all of the members of the SE Region of CSI. As we embark on another year of personal, professional, and CSI Activities, we certainly hope the promise and spirit of a new beginning will be with us, and the frustrations of the old year gone with the wind.
The SE Region Board has been very busy finalizing the plans for the upcoming Region Leadership Conference set for March 12-13 in Jacksonville Florida. Please go to the conference website at www.csiser2010.org to view the details and register. This event promises to be even better than last years’ leadership Conference in Atlanta, and we strongly urge ALL SE Region CSI members and guests to attend. This is the signature event for the region for the year, and we are very excited about the seminars and other activities we have scheduled.
This year is also an exciting time for the SE Region of CSI in regards to Institute Elections. We have our own Dennis Hall from Charlotte getting ready to be installed as Institute President in July, and three other members running for Institute board positions. They are Paul Bertram (Greater Orlando) running for President-Elect, Casey Robb (Atlanta) running for VP- Industry, and Jose Guaty (Ft. Lauderdale) running for Treasurer. I am also running for SE Region Institute Director against 3 other formidable opponents from the region. I encourage all members to take the time to vote for the candidate of your choice. As they say in Washington, vote early and often.
