RECEPTION IN HONOR OF MICHAEL M. DAVIS, FCSI, CDT
On April 4, 2009 the Chattanooga Chapter of CSI held a Surprise reception honoring Mike Davis, FCSI, CDT for the occasion of his upcoming inauguration as President of The Construction Specifications Institute. The reception was attended by his family, friends, co-workers, and peers. Both the Knoxville and Nashville Chapters had several representatives present to wish him well. Richard Cooper, Kathy Proctor, Jimmy Lail, Bruce Martin, Brent Williams, and Beth Eubanks-Powell each spoke on Mike’s impact in CSI and offered their support and encouragement for his upcoming duties.
Since joining CSI in 1993 Mike’s service and exceptional devotion to the principles of The Construction Specifications Institute have been seen in all of his endeavors on a chapter, region and Institute level. Mr. Davis has a tremendous ability for recognizing each person’s talents and strengths and has been able to motivate them to apply their abilities within CSI. Mike’s philosophy on his upcoming Presidency is “having F-U-N as a volunteer” while highlighting the strength of CSI’s diverse membership.
Please join the Chattanooga Chapter in congratulating Michael M. Davis, FCSI, CDT on his upcoming installation as President of CSI.
