Dear Reader:
On behalf of the CSI Student Chapter UPR, I welcome you to our Web Page. We are a Construction Specifications Institute affiliate at the School of Architecture, University of Puerto Rico, Ro Piedras Campus.
Weve been acknowledged as the first CSI Student Chapter in the island, and in the entire Southeast region of United States. As such, we have a great compromise with our school, our society and of course, our profession: architecture. We are responsible to set the example for future Chapters in the island, as well as contributing in the educational enrichment of our fellow students and professionals, in terms of their construction and technological knowledge.
In order to achieve such goals, we have hectic calendar ahead of us for this, our first year as a CSI affiliate. Such plans are what you will find here, in our Page. Besides, youll be able to get to know us with extract of our history [since our foundation on March 2003, brief biographical notes on each of the Student Board Member, instructions regarding the membership and inscription process and minutes resuming our main meetings, seminars and other activities. Therefore, if you are a CSI affiliate already, or are interested in becoming a member of our chapter or any other CSI Chapter throughout the nation; well keep you informed.
